Why sports teachers like Bassalo playing:

Ellena von Papp, middle school Eckental, Germany

Something different in school sports.

I am a trainee lawyer in the second year and have become aware of Bassalo through Facebook.

I was looking for new sports or new games for my physical education. And
then I came across Bassalo.

After I was allowed to test Bassalo in the 5-8th class, I knew that we have to order it.

Bassalo has convinced me with its simplicity but yet special way. A set for up to 30
Children in a small bag is just perfect (we always have 11 minutes to go to the hall
to run). Other teachers at my school were also immediately convinced by Bassalo.

The children enjoy the technique for themselves. In addition, it promotes besides
coordination also includes creativity as the children also do their own tricks and games with the material
develop.

The good thing? A sense of achievement is very quickly visible to the children!
A welcome relief. Try it :)

Julia Semar, IGS School, Rülzeim - Germany

My students, my colleagues and I are excited about this great product. I was allowed to test the school set with my students and everyone was motivated to learn it. In the coming sports lessons, I was asked again and again by the students, if we could not play bassalo again.

The students unanimously decided that we had to buy this game and so I volunteered. It's a great change in school sports and combines throwing and catching in a fun way.

Özlem Yuca, sports school in Germany

As a sports teacher at a sports school in NRW I wanted to try something new with my classes. Bassalo seemed perfect for me. After initial skepticism on the part of the students, the trial went well and totally convinced me, because there was a high motivation for learning among the students.

In addition, there were quick success experiences.

A very important aspect is also that there was no previous experience with the Bassalo, everyone started at "zero".

For the physical education I can only recommend Bassalo.

Annette Kienert, high school Wolbeck from Münster - Germany

The cupball set was tested by different colleagues and different grade levels. The feedback from all classes / courses was quite positive. The students found Bassalo a "successful change", "because it's just something new" and "great fun". The students had "really a lot of fun" and praised the "high demand character". Battles quickly arose in the sense of distance throwing, targeting and tricks for throwing and catching.

Colleagues also reported a lot of positive things back to me. Although the throwing and catching movements are changed by the cups, they also require an adaptation of the automated movement sequences, whereby possibly even throwing / catching weaker pupils can be better taken or even get chances of success. The high demand of the new materials, which seem quite high quality, and the motivation that came with showing Bassalo videos on YouTube, brought a positive and interesting atmosphere. This quickly provided ideas for possible lesson series or possible uses of the set for different lesson series / goals.

After I wanted to try something new in the gymnastics lessons, I decided for the new game "Bassalo".

After an intensive workshop with a coach, we all knew that this game is absolutely fantastic !! It not only promotes concentration and dexterity but is also an absolutely great team game.

You do not need much to play the game and can easily be played in the gym or outdoors.
It is also suitable for all ages

I can only recommend this cupball for anyone who wants to introduce variety and fun in the gym class.

Ulricke Stüwe, sports teacher of the "Schiller" high school in Müncher - Germany!

Thanks again, that we were allowed to borrow the school set!

I tried it with my students! At first, the students were skeptical, annoyed after the first failures, but when they got the throw and catch better under control, the fun was great! It was especially nice to see that the otherwise less athletic students had their fun and success right from the start!

Tried across the ages.
Best regards from NRW!

Jule Rath, sports teacher of the Heinrich-Nordhoff comprehensive school in Wolfsburg - Germany

So most kids had fun. Some said it was so "middle" because either throwing or catching them was difficult. Rarely both. But try out for 2 hours, that's clear that it does not work out yet. There were many but also quite fast.

So for the physical education is a school set great! If there were too few cups or balls, it makes no sense. We played it outside, because we had enough space there. Great also that you could see the ball great in the grass.

In between, I was a little afraid that the cups go broke, as sometimes flew up to catch so ball, which of course did not work 😀 on the grass not so bad, in the hall well ..
Since no child had previous experience, they all had first on the same level, which was great.

We played it similar to the Ultimate Frisbee game, which was great because everyone had the opportunity to play with it. Catching and throwing was more of a move, especially when they are not feeling well. But that can sometimes be avoided in physical education in the introductory phase. Otherwise really great thing!

Anatolij Denisenko, Emil-Schumacher-Schools, Hagen - Germany

"I became aware of Bassalo through Facebook and wanted to try it right at my school.
The Bassalo team offers schools a 2-week free trial with a full class set on request.

In the beginning, the introduction of the throwing technique was still difficult for the students, but as soon as the technique was understood, the kids quickly developed new, own tricks! On the homepage you also get free material for the purchase of technology, introductory exercises and further games. So a great service! Hats off at this point!

Playing with the bassalo cups in a simple gym turns into a space problem as soon as the kids get the hang of it. You would need a bigger hall or what I could imagine, that you could move the game outside.

It definitely makes the kids a lot of fun and promotes not only coordination but also creativity, as the kids also develop their own tricks and games with the material. Great!"
"As a sports teacher at a Bavarian high school I wanted to try something completely new with lower grades (grades 5-7). Bassalo seemed perfect for me. The testing went very well and totally convinced me.

The students showed a very high learning motivation. Success came very quickly. Above all, the independent experimentation of tricks and freestyle variations as well as the development of own game ideas made the children a lot of joy.

The fact that the children simultaneously improve their eye-hand coordination, skill, concentration, teamwork, fair play, etc., is just great!

For physical education, I can only recommend Bassalo! It's worth trying out! "
Sports teacher Julian Geck, high school, Bavaria, Germany
"When you first came to Mieming with your cups and balls, we marveled at how vividly you showed our students something new.

We played Bassalo on our outdoor sports field without building something huge. The fast game brought a lot of fun and above all movement despite concentration. The rules of the game were no problem for our students and they were eagerly infected by the gambling idea.

Even we teachers had our fun and what is there for us to see more beautiful than happy student faces :)

We look forward to your next visit to our "Adventure B"! "
Sports teacher Ruth Rauch & Ingeborg from the middle school Mieming, Tirol, Austria
"The students enjoy the game, it promotes coordination and responsiveness, and it can be integrated in a variety of physical education classes.

Especially outdoors, the motivation to reach "record widths" is very high. "
Sports teacher Simon Juen from the middle school Vorderes Stanzertal in Pians, Tirol, Austria
The game not only promotes coordination and skill, but also requires concentration and responsiveness. It trains the right movement to the ball, which is a prerequisite in all small and large games.

Especially popular with the kids are the cool tricks, the "Moves" are a real challenge.

The team games, which can be very intense or can also be used as preliminary exercises for basketball or volleyball, are a lot of fun.

Often I use Bassalo as an additional task.

In addition, this game can be very well integrated into the "Moving Pause".

Stay cool - play Bassalo!
Sports teacher R. Kaindl, middle school Ebbs, Tirol, Austria

Good for hand-eye coordination

"Catch it, if you can get it right to the point! At first you had to get a sense of the right intensity. How much effect, pressure, I can give the ball, or game device. Very suitable to improve the eye, hand coordination.

Lukas our co-trainer (Down Syndrome) was quite taken. He got the hang of it relatively quickly. Find it great to work with smaller groups. Can be completed at the beginning but also at the end of a training session. Balance, coordination can be trained playfully in this way. "
Herbert Pichler, Master Trainer of Equal Sport

Fun is in the foreground

"I often play Bassalo to warm up for beach volleyball. The leg movements are similar and above all it promotes my eye hand coordination.

I also like to use Bassalo in children's and young talent training. The fun is always in the foreground and you have direct success control and a sense of achievement. "
Simon Varges, Volleyball trainer & organizer of MyBeachEvent

Why sports teacher love Bassalo:

"I tested Bassalo for 2 weeks with all my classes and we were all excited about the game. It was great fun! My colleagues were also excited!

After initial exercises to throw and catch, the students have steadily improved and were thus highly motivated in the matter.

We particularly liked the team games!

"Bassalo" can be very well integrated into the sports lessons of any vintage and is therefore highly recommended. So 1000 pluses from us :). "
U. Schrandt, sports teacher of IGS Stöcken, Germany
"I think the cups really cool, because you can make so nice art pieces. As a supervisor in the project "moving class" in Lower Austria, I use the cups mainly in elementary schools. I do not play any of the bassalo game variants, so I prefer to complement my equipment / my station operation with exciting coordinative tasks! The cups always make children curious and curiosity is always a good motivation to try something out!

... and again and again I realize that the children are really captivated .... "
Tina Kretschmar, supervisor "moving class" in Lower Austria
"The children of the elementary school Wildermieming play bassalo in the school garden in the big break.

It is particularly valuable that the children deal with each other across ages and have a lot of fun together. At our school Bassalo is also used to improve the throwing technique in the gym lessons.

Practical is the uncomplicatedness of the material. "
Christine Höllrigl, Director of the elementary school Wildermieming, Tirol, Austria
"I was convinced by the first project of this company. Everything went great and smooth. I will not change. "
Bettina Niederacher, head of the swimming club Sparkasse Söll, Tirol, Austria
